For this example, let’s look at a site with one integrated connection and multiple transformers or breakers. Ampcontrol provides this site with an innovative, multi-network feature that allows fleet operators to optimize across not just a single transformer breaker, but across multiple transformers/breakers. This means fleet operators can charge at a particular site, taking into account different variables to maximize the efficiency of the site and of the charging that is occurring at one specific transformer.
What energy data is Ampcontrol monitoring, and how do you receive the data from the charger?
Some of the data that Ampcontrol monitors includes voltage, kilowatts, ampage, and more. All of this data is available through OCPP from the charger, and Ampcontrol uses this information to optimize and ensure that whatever is occurring onsite is following the constraints as defined by the fleet operator.
