Challenges

Custom In-House Operations

One key differentiator between Aerovolt and similar companies is Aerovolt’s developed in-house functionalities such as subscriptions, booking platforms, and mobile applications. When looking at EV smart charging solutions, Aerovolt needed software with reliable and scalable APIs that would work seamlessly with their in-house operations.

New Product Launch

Aerovolt had to launch a new charging station and electric airplane within less than a year. The company needed a reliable software partner to reduce the risk of possible interruptions or downtime. Finding a partner that can respond quickly to potential questions before and during the launch was crucial.

Rapid EV Market

Since the charger OEM market is moving quickly, Aerovolt was searching for a flexible partner that stays compliant with industry standards. Aerovolt needed smart charging management that was fully OCPP-proven and allowed easy commission in remote places.

Solution

Seamless and Reliable APIs

Ampcontrol’s API allowed reliable integrations to Aerovolt’s custom in-house operations. This integration allowed for a quicker launch time and permitted Aerovolt’s team to build prototypes and become production-ready. Moreover, Aerovolt can add new custom functionalities anytime using Ampcontrol’s API.
